AOC speaks. I hope the GOP uses this as the hard left is providing all they need to win:
People only become billionaires by exploiting workers and preying on vulnerable and less privileged people, Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez argued this week.
"No one ever makes a billion dollars. You take a billion dollars," the freshman congresswoman, who goes by "AOC," told author Ta-Nehisi Coates.
Billionaires make their money "off the backs" of undocumented immigrants, minorities, and single mothers," she said.
"You sat on a couch while thousands of people were paid modern-day slave wages," she added.

Prince Charles was last night facing embarrassment after taking a series of private jet flights while lecturing world leaders about climate change.
On a trip to the World Economic Forum in Davos last week, the Prince met activist Greta Thunberg and used an electric Jaguar car to travel to the Swiss resort.
But the MoS can reveal that in the 11 days before his high-profile appearance, Charles took three flights on private jets for official Government business and one on a helicopter.
After his speech last Wednesday, during which he urged world leaders to take ‘bold and imaginative action’ on the environment, he took a fourth jet to Israel for an official trip.

The so called community:
A Florida man was arrested Wednesday after shining a laser pointer at multiple pilots making their approaches at Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, police said.
Charlie James Chapman Jr, 41, faces multiple charges after police said he temporarily blinded one of the pilots. Video claims to show him throwing rocks and directing the laser at a Manatee County Sheriff's helicopter attempting to locate him.

Lets review the so called media:
Years ago Kobe is accused of rape. There is solid testimony, DNA evidence and confirmation of time and place. He is now heralded as a great man of our society.
Then there is a Judge who is accused by a hard partisan, no DNA, no evidence, no confirmation of time or place. He is unfit to be a supreme court justice?

A KFC branch plagued by violence has taken drastic action by serving customers through a ‘chicken wire’ fence to protect staff.
The fast food giant’s restaurant in Chelmsley, Birmingham, has been blighted by violent incidents, with fights regularly breaking out and a woman even vaulting the counter to assault an employee.
Bosses have now opted to install vertical metal bars along the serving counter, with five strips of ‘chicken wire’ style fencing running between customers and staff.
Management made the move following a series of serious incidents in the KFC branch over the past year.
On a separate occasion, a 16-year-old boy was badly assaulted in the store when he tried to intervene in an argument involving a girl in October.

What does Andrew know and why has he been so shy thus far?
Jan. 27, 2020, 9:16 AM PST By Sarah Fitzpatrick and Rich Schapiro Prince Andrew has provided "zero cooperation" in the investigation of Jeffrey Epstein's network of enablers, the U.S. attorney for the Southern District of New York said Monday.
Andrew, who has been accused of having sex with a teenage girl trafficked by Epstein, has publicly indicated that he would be willing to assist in any investigation related to the case.
But U.S. Attorney Geoffrey Berman, speaking outside the late financier's mansion in New York City, said the FBI and New York prosecutors have reached out to the prince and his attorneys but have yet to receive any assistance from him.
"To date, Prince Andrew has provided zero cooperation," Berman said.
Buckingham Palace did not immediately respond to a request for comment.

Also, the video of Biden laughing about getting the prosecutor fired would be plenty for Trump to ask them to look into this.

Fuckers!
An antivirus program used by hundreds of millions of people around the world is selling highly sensitive web browsing data to many of the world's biggest companies, a joint investigation by Motherboard and PCMag has found. Our report relies on leaked user data, contracts, and other company documents that show the sale of this data is both highly sensitive and is in many cases supposed to remain confidential between the company selling the data and the clients purchasing it. The documents, from a subsidiary of the antivirus giant Avast called Jumpshot, shine new light on the secretive sale and supply chain of peoples' internet browsing histories. They show that the Avast antivirus program installed on a person's computer collects data, and that Jumpshot repackages it into various different products that are then sold to many of the largest companies in the world. Some past, present, and potential clients include Google, Yelp, Microsoft, McKinsey, Pepsi, Sephora, Home Depot, Condé Nast, Intuit, and many others. Some clients paid millions of dollars for products that include a so-called "All Clicks Feed," which can track user behavior, clicks, and movement across websites in highly precise detail.
Avast claims to have more than 435 million active users per month, and Jumpshot says it has data from 100 million devices. Avast collects data from users that opt-in and then provides that to Jumpshot, but multiple Avast users told Motherboard they were not aware Avast sold browsing data, raising questions about how informed that consent is.
The data obtained by Motherboard and PCMag includes Google searches, lookups of locations and GPS coordinates on Google Maps, people visiting companies' LinkedIn pages, particular YouTube videos, and people visiting porn websites. It is possible to determine from the collected data what date and time the anonymized user visited YouPorn and PornHub, and in some cases what search term they entered into the porn site and which specific video they watched.

If I lived there I would be pissed
In order to clean up an abandoned homeless encampment in Castro Valley's Lakewood neighborhood, homeowners in the area will reportedly have to pay a combined $20,000, which translates to $300 per home owner.
After residents were informed by the management firm behind their homeowners association that they would be the ones paying for the clean-up efforts in a creek area below the homes, several individuals spoke to local television stations to complain of a perceived "unfair" fee.
"It's not like it's on our property and we could see somebody camping out here and we could do something, but it's kind of out somewhere," resident Angie Bau told KTVU.
“We didn’t even know it was part of our HOA,” resident Cece Adams told KPIX.
However, Alameda County officials determined the encampment was indeed on their property. According to KPIX, the encampment was first reported in October 2017, but it was unclear if the land belonged to Alameda County, East Bay Regional Parks, or the Lakewood Home Owners Association.
Ed Walsh, the owner of the management firm that oversees the HOA, told KPIX that Alameda County informed the association that the encampment was on their property in August 2019.
“There are no fences and such that would mark where the property line ended, so we were kind of hoping that it was someone else’s responsibility,” he said.
Walsh and the HOA worked to get the people staying in the encampment evicted, and then allegedly handed down the individual bills to the homeowners, which annoyed a number of residents.
"You should know exactly where your property line is and he said he didn't know," resident An Loung told KTVU. "So, I don't really think that's an excuse."
Luong further stated that due to the confusion over who was really responsible for the encampment, the county and Walsh's management firm should also pay part of the $20,000 bill.
"At least part of the responsibility for the negligence and stupidity, instead of putting everything on us," she said.
Another resident launched a Change.org petition titled, "Lakewood HOA should hire a new property management company!"
"It is clear to most Lakewood at Castro Valley property owners that Walsh Property Management dropped the ball when it came to handling the homeless encampment in our neighborhood," resident Luan Truong wrote. "Why are we still supporting these people with our HOA dues? Let’s vote with our wallets and select another property management company that is more professional, capable, and can do a better job managing all of our property while keeping us better informed!"
The cleanup is expected to be completed by mid-February.

It has nothing to do with who they voted for. The arguement is over the property line of their property not being spelled out in the HOA covenents. The home owners weren't told that the property behind their homes/fences in a gully was actully their responsibility

On a side note I know exactly where the line is on what our association owns vs the town of Danville.
