Found out yesterday that in all my excitement of a niner loss, I forgot to really check my numbers. I now have 900 more reasons to enjoy the niners losing. My buddy says I never had to call somebody to come pick up their money. LOL Two things. Congrats You owe your friend a good drink.

I watched the Houston/LA game. I liked it. Some really nice catches by both teams. You get to listen in on the refs and replay crew conversations, game moves fast, not a bunch of penalties...I’ll watch again for sure.

gotta say, I think I like those kick returns. I mean how many times do NFL players catch the ball, only to arrive at the 25 yard line when they could have just let it go for a touch back? but the XFL version I could get behind.

I think the NFL might change the way they do kickoffs after seeing how good the XFL version is

I really like that they run a play for the extra points and that they have choices of how many points to go for. Also, cool to listen in to the conversations between the refs and replay booth. I’m definitely going to watch more.

Israel is in Europe! Woohoo! Wasn’t aware you were from Israel, but it still works wanting pro/rel and all TRO I thought everyone here knew. USSR -(1990)> Israel -(2011)> US
I don't really care about football, just thought the other folks would find it interesting.

I don't really care about football, just thought the other folks would find it interesting. I remembered the USSR bit (and assumed Eastern Europe). The Israeli football league qualifies for the UEFA leagues and Israel is part of UEFA. Europe but not Europe! TRO

The White House announced Tuesday that President Trump is granting a full pardon to former San Francisco 49ers owner Edward DeBartolo Jr., who was convicted of failing to report a bribe to the former governor of Louisiana when he pleaded guilty in 1998.
NFL greats including Jerry Rice, Ronnie Lott, Charles Haley, and Jim Brown were on hand at the White House, expressing their support for DeBartolo, who was inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 2016.
"I take my hat off to Donald Trump for what he did," Rice said, crediting DeBartolo for his former team's success in the 1980s and 90s.
“He wanted us to win and I think he’s the main reason why we won so many Super Bowls," said Rice, who played on three of DeBartolo's Super Bowl-winning teams.
“I’m going to make it real simple," Brown said. "Ed DeBartolo is a great man.”
Brown spoke of his personal relationship with DeBartolo, calling him "a great, great friend of mine and to the league."
The 49ers won five championships under DeBartolo's ownership. He stepped down as owner in 1997 after two Louisiana newspapers reported he would be indicted for gambling fraud.
DeBartolo's guilty plea was in connection to his payment of $400,000 to former Louisiana Gov. Edwin Edwards in exchange for a riverboat gambling license. He avoided prison, was fined $1 million and was suspended for a year by the NFL. But the episode effectively ended his NFL career.
He was previously denied pardons from Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama.

So let me get this straight on the new proposed playoffs/games:
Add a 17th game, take away 1 pre-season game. Add 3rd Wild Card instead of 2. 7 teams each from NFC and AFC make the playoffs. Only the top teams from NFC and AFC get bye's. High seed vs lower seed as per usual.
I read a response on twitter that said, "This is so the NFL can get the Dallas Cowboys in again!" (found that funny indeed).
Another response said "pure greed from the NFL again!"
