Barclay Goodrow wins a Stanley Cup before Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau, and Joe Pavelski. No offense to Barclay, but man.... Crazy huh. You just never know if you'll get a chance to win the whole thing

When you got space and not many major holes to fill this can be a great offseason for you. Lot of teams will be up against it one way or another and there’ll likely be moves that get made that teams are forced to make. Bad if your team being forced, not bad if your team taking advantage. Sharks can be in the latter category. If Wilson has one thing to his name it’s his ability to swing big trades. Wilson can pull of a trade for sure but I dont think you can trade your way out of this one. The Sharks have two players that most teams would want and they are in this order: Logan Evander I dont see them getting much back for any other player. Burns is getting old, Hertl has been injury prone and Timo shit the bed after being given a good contract. This is a painful view: www.capfriendly.com/teams/sharksGuess we will see. I just know that a lot of teams are in worse shape than the Sharks. Heck they could just outright sign Pietrangelo or Hall without any moves to make room and lot of teams couldn’t say that. Don’t think that’s the answer at all but you get my point. If Wilson plays his cards right he could find some affordable ways to make his team better at the expense of other team’s cap constraints.

Glad to see the Bolts win. Got crushed last year but learned from it and came back stronger. Can toss the asterisk of the covid cup out the window because they’ve been top contenders for years now and could’ve easily won in a regular year. Team was built the right way from ground zero to champion.
They’ll probably have to make some tough decisions in the coming months and years but it’s all worth it now.

From Dictionary Dan Congratulations to the Tampa Bay Lightning for winning the 2020 Stanley Cup Championship, and to our friend Barclay Goodrow for making the most out of his opportunity.

So Sharks '1st rounder' they exchanged for Goodrow now becomes the 31st pick. Good to know. Back in the early 70's when there were 14 NHL teams, 31st would have been the 3rd pick in the 3rd round. Yikes. So is Goody a FA now?

Looking back I don't think one good thing happened in the past Hockey season so it's time to ditch this thread.
Maybe the only good thing was Goodrow being on a winning Hockey team that won it all. *
