NEW YORK (October 17, 2019) – Vegas Golden Knights forward Valentin Zykov has been suspended for 20 games, without pay, for violating the terms of the NHL/NHLPA Performance Enhancing Substances Program.
Under the terms of the Collective Bargaining Agreement, the suspension is accompanied by mandatory referral to the NHL/NHLPA Program for Substance Abuse and Behavioral Health for evaluation and possible treatment.
The National Hockey League will have no further comment on this matter

NEW YORK (October 17, 2019) – Anaheim Ducks forward Nick Ritchie has been fined $4,121.86, the maximum allowable under the Collective Bargaining Agreement, for roughing Buffalo Sabres forward Vladimir Sobotka during NHL Game No. 96 in Anaheim on Wednesday, Oct. 16, the National Hockey League’s Department of Player Safety announced today.
The incident occurred at 15:57 of the second period. Ritchie was assessed two minor penalties for roughing.
The money goes to the Players’ Emergency Assistance Fund.

OFFICIALS UPDATE: Linesman Michel Cormier left the @penguins / @avalanche game in the second period due to injury and will be kept out the remainder of the contest for precautionary reasons.
The game will continue with two Referees and one Linesman.

The @mapleleafs announced today that centre John Tavares sustained a broken finger late in last night’s game in Washington.
He will be out of the lineup for a minimum of two weeks, at which point he will be reassessed by the team's medical staff.

Last night, Dallas Stars player Tyler Seguin's house was destroyed by a tornado that touched down in Dallas, Texas! 🌪️😳 @tseguinofficial ( Tyler Seguin) "Thanks to everyone reaching out about the news tonight, I am safe. Luckily this is my house for sale and I have moved into a new one. I just left the area and it is an extremely sad sight to see. Prayers to everyone affected by the tornado."   |

My Daughter has had to replace her roof twice because of damage from hail storms and my ex Mother in Law (great lady) had to junk her Mercedes one time because of hail damage. And don't forget the loss of my Yukon Denali to a hail storm last year. |
