was at the game tonight, opening mood went flat quick. Vegas is a fkn good hockey team, four lines that really clicked and superior goaltending. they should do quite well this season, goddamnit. Vegas fourth line was all over shark fourth line, shark special teams a joke tonite. New guys out of knowhere, Bergmann & Yurtaykin were surprising positives.
Shark goaltending a combined .829, Erik Karlsson a -4 for the night. It's early so Sharks need to get away from playing Vegas to see how they can measure up elsewhere. Yikes.

The path to the cup will go through Vegas though, more likely than not. So it is a problem we consistently have (Blues style too). I am looking forwars to actually watching to see Bergmann and Yury. Need some positives. Then you gotta hope Kane coming back gives you 3 forward lines that you can work with. They need Simek back badly as well.

Unless somehow there is a upset in the 1st round and someone knocks vegas out like the flames, otherwise... sharks will have to go through them at some point. Hopefully this is just one of those: they do great first half and then the knights shit the bed Jan on lol (Not holding my breath). Berg and Yurt are hungry to stay. Ferraro too, I'd play him over Heed for sure. Gambrell and Radil need to go back to the Cuda for another year. I'd like to see DW snag a Physical 4C and move Goody up to the 3rd line.

The injury bug could hit them hard as that is just luck of the draw but they do look very good right now. Are the sharks playing that poorly or vegas that well?

Sharks look very unprepared, like it was a 1970s training camp consisting of beer and golf. Golden Knights played like a team that was embarrassed last year and wanted revenge.

We are only two games in though and beating some lesser teams can go a long way towards confidence, and Vegas is due to be hit by the injury bug... After last season the Sharks are due some good fortune with injury.
