Forecast is for 74° this afternoon in Fremont. 76° tomorrow. Brrrr... It gets over 80 in Danville, then down to 40 at night, and I don't like these 40 degrees see-saws the least bit. Please send some snow to the Tahoe area. Thanks.

Also, not sure if I confirmed here. JB got the job offer in North Carolina, and my transfer was approved. We will work about .5 miles away from each other in the Research Triangle Park. Most likely to live in Durham for the first year and then may attempt to move more towards Raleigh (The Canes, freer of Patty Marleau's independence, play out of Raleigh). We are excited for the move and the more agressive winter + less shit summer. And the plants. Fuck yourself, Arizona. Now placing the house on the market. Think we are within scraping distance of just barely getting our money back out after 13 months of owning. Which ain't too bad all things considered. AllAboutBeer.com is out there! 👍👍 As I recall, there's a shit-ton of Bio and Medical out there. I did some work for Agile Endosurgery a while back. They were out there in RTP. Yep. The job market is much better as the economy is heavily driven by research from the schools driving talent into tech and bio medical. On top of that it seems like other industries (financial) are also moving in given their need to join the tech world for security reasons. So while cost of living is similar to Phoenix the skew of job demographics is much more favoriable towards white collar work. I'm basically standing pat in my role just with a new team I've already been working with remotely, and JB has better chances for herself so it makes sense. Plus I'm more confident I can jump ship on my company as post aquisition has not been great.

I think we are opting to potentially not have kids.

Maybe I should've taken the offer from the rich chick that wanted me to dump my future wife. That probably wouldn't have worked either but I would've eaten a whole helluva lot better for awhile anyway!😝😂😂😂

Hell I lived in my parents home until I got married. Driving a truck for a living I was rarely home anyway.

We are super excited to get the hell out of Arizona. Outside of the cheaper cost of living it never really clicked for us here. The main bummer is just the 3 days of driving to make the move, and going from home ownership back into rental life for at least a year. But we figure we'll at least be a bit more cautious before buying again (make sure we're ready to stick this time...).

Girl was a smokeshow to boot. There are no do-overs though. Well, not until somebody gets their shit together and invents a legit time machine!!😝😆

Checking in from a long absence. New job is working out great.
If you know anyone looking for Cher tix at the Chase Center this month let me know. We bought 2 decent seats but now I would have to take 2 days off without pay to go to the concert. Willing to sell them at a loss (and quite happy not to have to go honestly).

In any case, it sounds like it is a good move for both of you. Is work paying for you to relocate?
