We are driving. But the question is if we drive 2 cars which we've both agreed would be a pretty rough trek given most pikely 3 consecutive 12-13 hour stretches and having the dog. So we are likely going to go in JBs SUV and then either ship or sell my car. I've helped my daughter move to Texas twice and it would be a good idea to do it that way Yeah. I just can't picture coordinating pit stops with JB and the dog. |

You're moving to another State and not driving there? What about Beau, you can't just put him in a crate at the airport and tell him see you later. We are driving. Stopped every four hours for gas, stretch and let the dog do its business, get some water and move a bit. About 15 minutes per stop. It was a five day drive and we didn’t have any issues with towing the extra truck or the dog. |

I towed my extra/kids/ranch truck from Cali to South Carolina...easy. That is a good question. Need to check if the Kia has a tow hitch on it. Would definitely save some scratch. |

We're watching Good Omens. It is very very good, but Amazon forced some diversity into the cast which sometimes is annoying, but sometimes merely goes against the concept of the book. Without this diversity it would be truly exceptional.

Talking with my wife's cousin Saturday, he tells me about a website called transparent California. It has the earnings of every state and city employee. After looking at what some of these people make, I kinda wish he wouldn't have told me, because there are a lot of people getting paid way to much for the job they do. And I'm sorry but after looking at a lot of the teacher salaries they are no where near being under paid. Just my two cents.

And I'm sorry but after looking at a lot of the teacher salaries they are no where near being under paid. Just my two cents. Agree on teachers. Respect the job they do and I wouldn’t have the patience for it. However, when I hear them complain about money, I remind them that they only work ten months a year. I realize some work year round with Summer school but those are usually the ones who want to work year round, which is a small group around here. |
