Hey John96, intermission change of subject. We want to RV camp somewhere in Southern Ontario or Quebec next Summer. Any tips on places to stay, explore...or avoid would be appreciated. We should be up there for about ten days. Not the best source to be honest. I wish I could tell you some off-the-beaten-path option that no one else would tell you about but I'm not that guy. Pinery isn't bad, girlfriend just camped there a few weeks back but it isn't big. Muskoka is beautiful and the cottage country of all Canada, there'll be a lot of action there but it's such a big area you probably can't notice.. Algoquin might be a bit further but also quite nice, though again, very popular. Actually a lot of the nicer spots are more north, around Lake Superior, Georgian Bay, and I was up in the Parry Sound area end of August which was good. It doesn't seem like much to me because I grew up going there all the time but apparently Point Pelee is a pretty popular spot for out of towners. Quebec I don't know anything about. |

I really shouldn't complain, I've always thought when one team takes an obvious penalty, like Goodrow's hit from behind, the retaliation should have some leeway to help allow players to police the game themselves. Obviously can't go overboard and it almost never works that way (usually they call the retaliation more) but I really don't mind when the refs let the on-ice justice mete itself out a bit. |

I really shouldn't complain, I've always thought when one team takes an obvious penalty, like Goodrow's hit from behind, the retaliation should have some leeway to help allow players to police the game themselves. Obviously can't go overboard and it almost never works that way (usually they call the retaliation more) but I really don't mind when the refs let the on-ice justice mete itself out a bit. Thats what the Sharks system is though...they expect/depend on much of their offense coming from the D’men and that results in some very sloppy D zone play. |

Labanc's "efforts" in OT alone are enough for me to warrant popcorn patrol duty. I don't recall, in recent memory, a shittier shift by an NHL regular. At this level, I'd think you'd have to WANT to suck that bad. It just can't be organic... |
