I was in 120 last night. Had the defensive zone view for two periods. They tightened things up but were still a mess in their own end. Jones was outstanding!
This team is about as physically imposing and intimidating as a single sheet of soaking wet single ply toilet paper. Nashville paid no price at all to enter and loiter in the Sharks' zone. Zero. Free admittance. Cue Strother Martin...

2-1 wins will be an anomaly this year so I’ll count it as a big win...

That was a good game against a good team.
Jumbo didn't play much in the third and none in OT. I don't understand why he's paid thrice Marleau's salary.

With the amount of money JT has been paid by the Sharks over the years I would want to be his friend too Because Marleau gave DW the middle finger & went off to Toronto & Thornton has stayed here taking pay cuts. Then Marleau comes back begging to play only in San Jose

Thornton was paid $15M for three very, uhm, pedestrian seasons. I think JT is the straw thet stirs the shark drink behind the scenes. He's the 'glue guy' for the roster at the practice rink, airports, hotels.. He is a plus overall, but even I don't think Joe has enough glue to pull it off for another season after this. We're seeing a great NHL warrior fading. He's stepped in the to face-off dot with Messier and gretzky.. What's more interesting is if Marleau will ever be healthy scratched this season at the expense of his game streak and all-time games played chase.. Marleau needs 61 games to pull into 3rd all-time and the Sharks have 64 games left. He'd need 36 more games after that to pass Gordie and be #1 NHL games played..

And why is Marleau called "my boy" is not entirely clear.
I don't care why bolted where. Both are playing worth a minimal contract now.

Well when the alternatives are Yurtaykin, Bergmann, Radil, Gregor, and Gambrell... I think Marleau will be safe. Probably would be good to sit him but that streak/record means a lot, probably not a good look to scratch it (cue Commodore’s rant on Babcock sitting Modano so he didn’t get 1000g).

At $20 a pop inside, I'll likely drink my beer *outside* the tank. Main goal is to see how fast McNutsack and DrySides are live.. and access #65s new gears. Do Sharks have a shot at a playoff spot? Nellie will let you know..

Well, they're what, six points out of a playoff spot today? Announcing whether or not they have a shot at the playoffs on Wednesday is silly at best. Of course they have a shot. If they're in the same boat in March well then it's a different story. Make the call, in or out, on Wednesday and you might be on to something. 👍👍
