Yea, start Gooning it up now at 40, Joe. What a freakin dumb thing to post. C'mon Red snap out if it! Got to go with Red on this one. Not “goon it up”...but using that body to pressure people seems like a good idea since he basically can’t skate anymore. Also, hitting, checking, pressure in general is an area the Sharks are weak in, so if JT could do any of that...seems like its a way for him to fill a need for the team. Ask him to just instantly be a hitter? LOL. ok let's suppose DeBoer asks JT to 'be more physical' every shift. With declining skating skills, he's just going to take a bunch of hooking/holding penalties. Red doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. Think it out. LOL.

If you had any clue at all, you'd know that body checking isn't allowed at the "beer league" level. oh hell yes, there are plenty of 'beer leagues' which allow checking.. but you wouldn't be exposed to any of those upper leagues. Remember, you play in the 'one step above broom-ball' double runner leagues so of couse they're not going to let you guys and girls bump the other beginners. Ha! You haven't skated in 4 years. Jeez calm down in here, ya goon!

Okay...lets assume you’re right...JT can’t hit, or skate. Then he’s an anchor and whats the point of having him on the team? One thing I absolutely agree with you on is improving the sloppy D zone play...that should be the number one priority.

The sharks got away with what should have been a fatal start. They still have much to clean up. Take the win and get out of town.

It isn't an all or nothing situation. But, if you weren't such an obtuse fool you would know that. Just because you're an advocate of poke checking, non-contact hockey doesn't make it the right way to play the game. Just because you're about as physical as a soaking wet piece of single ply toilet paper doesn't mean it's the right way to play hockey. Maybe we should get together for a stick and puck. Just you and I. I'll buy the beer because that's the way it's always been. Just bring a straw... Wow what a skinny old drama queen you are. 'Just bring a straw'? WTF. Stop being an internet ass-hole. I'd like to see Sharks shore up goaltending, get tighter in their defensive zone (88 & 65), improve their game starts.. get some bigger bodies into the lineup.. JT hitting more is about #43 on my list. LOL. It's only top of your list because you're a hockey dork. Bigger bodies? They've got enough big bodies. They haven't enough slick hands and fast feet. Taylor Hall would be a dream rental but the Sharks haven't got any assets to give for him.

I'd guess his -5 rating right now bugs him more than not having a single goal yet. But note team collectively is a -9 right now. joe is still viable out there IMO. yea, d-zone play and some tighter plans around first five minutes, the terrible game starts. you take them as package deals and they still net a 'plus', but man 88 & 65 both have WAY too many WTF moments in the defensive zone. 5-6 a game between them!

I love Jumbo. I really do but he is at the end now and this has to be the last year at any price. HOF career for sure but Father Time gives no man a pass.
