To me the biggest issue seems to be that our roster so beyond lever pulling. I have an outside hope that a drastically different system may click with the roster as currently signed (to me this puts Boughner out too - I expect his strategy is too similar to Deboere). So outside of literally trading half the roster away for a new look which I don't think happens until the summer, I think you need to go with a new coach and hopefully start the rebuild process with him in place and a half a season under his belt to assess the current squad. What really bothers me about the squad in no particular order - - Our top 6 guys on paper mostly don't mesh with each other, or at least not in a way to give us flexibility throughout the top 9. - We have fucking Goodrow in the top 3. That is a testament to how fucked our forward corps is. - Jumbo is done outside of maybe a 4th line center role - even there he is most likely a worse option than a kid with legs. - Simek can't remain healthy - Jones and Dell are both fucking awful - we need to find our goalie drafting mojo again (one of the Florida broadcasters literally called us out as the only team in the league with a tandem of guys that weren't even drafted...) - Clearly our rookies and prospects are nowhere near ready to begin contributing in anything above maybe a 4th line role - what the fuck Doug I dont want Babcock here. His best days and the game in general are behind him. Would rather see a younger guy come to San Jose. Q would have been good or even Torts but these are not options and they are not young either. Goodrow is one of the few guys playing above expectations. Burns has been terrible. Jumbo is old and should not play on a back to back. They long ago took him off PK. Timo is a big disappointment so far. Plenty of under performers on team. The D has been terrible and so has the goalie play. Bring up the kid from the Barracuda already! If Torts came here these guys would have their feeling hurt getting chewed out, DW would get his feeling hurt as well |

Other than bad goalie play, sloppy defense and poor five on five play the sharks are doing just ok. You sound like Randy Hahn & Baker...  |

Fortunately, I didn't see a second of the latest iteration of the Sharks Shitshow. I only heard the score on the radio on the drive home from LA last night. WTF happened THIS time? More of the same BS in the D zone? I heard the Sharks only managed one measly goal again... Did anybody get benched? Did anyone get fired? Did anyone give a shit?
