Sharks are just getting screwed by the refs tonight. Really bad. Seems like SOP. Especially since "the call" against Vegas. Seems worse since then. Don't forget the hand pass against St.Louis that the Sharks got a break.

Timo scores on the empty net. Saw the "highlight" of that snipe. Looked like he whiffed on the first attempt and managed to recover and stuff it home from two inches out. This, THIS, is our future...

The pic shows a good example of why the Sharks stink in their own end. Four skaters vs two. The two should be eliminated easily at least, on their ass at best. However, we have Team Charmin out there with the "toughest" of the four shown on his knees playing emergency goalie.

Watson should get more penalty time than Kane there...clearly third guy into a fight. Refs suck. Fucking Preds announcers made it sound like Kane was the agressor. Guess they missed the two shots to his face he took before he began swinging. That was fucking terrible reffing.

0 for 50 or something like that.
Good Grief!

Karlsson was outdeked at the point/NZ what, four times last night?
This may be the worst contract in the league at the moment. Trade him ASAP.

Guess they missed the two shots to his face he took before he began swinging. That was fucking terrible reffing. He's helping my fantasy team Evander Kane finished Tuesday's 3-1 road loss at Nashville with no points, but he racked up 19 penalty minutes. Kane picked up a double-minor for roughing, mixing it up with both Dan Hamhuis and Austin Watson. Kane was also assessed a five-minute fighting major and a 10-minute game misconduct for his misdeeds. The 28-year-old has always been feisty, but particularly so lately. In three games in the month of December he has rolled up just one goal and two points, but he has 51 PIM. Even when he doesn't get on the board with points he helps fantasy owners plenty with bad behavior.

It is actually amazing the sharks have as many points as they do. Consider the goaltending, the D, the amount of time in the box, the very poor PP and goals against differential. It is a miracle it is not much worse.

Even with November it is tough to have the goal differential they have and not be in last.

Even with November it is tough to have the goal differential they have and not be in last. It's better to lose one game 0-7 than seven games 0-1

Bad challange Pete. Stay out of the ducking box! He needs to be canned. SAN JOSE — Pete DeBoer, the only coach to take the Sharks to a Stanley Cup Final, has been fired by the team, multiple sources confirmed. An official announcement is expected later Wednesday. According to Elliotte Friedman of Sportsnet, Bob Boughner is taking over as DeBoer’s replacement. Per Pierre LeBrun of TSN and The Athletic, the Sharks decision to fire DeBoer was a hockey decision. DeBoer had this year and next year left on his contract at a salary of $3 million per season. DeBoer had a record of 198-129-34 in 361 games over four-plus seasons with the Sharks, who made the Stanley Cup Final in 2016. The Sharks, though, have started this season with a 15-16-2 record, and just finished a four-game road trip at 0-3-1. The Sharks entered Wednesday in sixth place in the Pacific Division, five points out of a playoff spot. The Sharks made the playoffs in each of DeBoer’s four seasons, as the team also advanced to the Western Conference Final last season before they lost to eventual Cup champion St. Louis in six games. Boughner spent the 2015-16 and 2016-17 seasons as DeBoer’s assistant before he was hired at the Florida Panthers’ head coach in 2017. Boughner was brought back to be an assistant with DeBoer after he was fired by the Panthers in April.

Ok Pete is gone...can we get rid of Wilson next? That's a much harder task since it has to involve a certain German retired billionaire who cares mostly about having better time than Larry Ellison.
If Ellison buys a major sports franchise, you'd be able to see a 100% owner's engagement in the Sharks as well.

If Ellison bought the team I would'd have a problem with that
