'Contitioning' could be Hedi's code-talk for 'heart'. No regulars are out of shape. You'd think for a new coach tonight they'd all be jumping out of their socks. Still looked overall a little flat. Bogey needs to bring in some more intensity, team desperation. Current Captian might be too nice.. This team is a mess. The third period is not on DW or any coach. This is on the players. This just cant happen. No excuse.
This team is very frustrating. many of the same guys (GM included) that were around for reverse sweep are still here and that is a problem.
There is a stench that remains to this day.

DW should take lessons from Bow Tie Bill Torrey who built the NY Islanders Dynasty of the late 70's to the 80's on how to draft & develop players

No. DW doesn't want to have to drag himself all across the continent into Montreal away from his tanning bed. He knows his development staff can't do anything with the pick anyways. But he doesn't have problem with it, since he just promoted them to the major team. |
