No, not yet. No offers yet. We started a bit high. I sincerely hope it works out for you! I was just talking to our realtor today and she was saying her trade journals are starting to talk about it being a sellers market in the country and a buyers market in the cities.

Thats great news. While I wouldn’t eat in SF either way, I’m glad things are improving in the Bay Area

Now I’m looking for a new E reader book service...I went on Amazon today to order a new French Press and they had the BLM banner across their home page. So, I went to the coffee makers website and ordered directly from them. Now I’ll set my mind on cutting the Amazon middle man out of everything else

You can buy a Kobo reader which is not tied to any service, or a midsize Android tablet and read from it. Best Buy's brand (Insignia) should also be good enough. I still have my Sony reader, which is more than 10 years old. Kobo bought the Sony technology.

It works great showing TV shows when flying on Southwest Airlines

I was just talking to our realtor today and she was saying her trade journals are starting to talk about it being a sellers market in the country and a buyers market in the cities. I'd be curious how accurate that is at it seems a little early for WFH situations to already be indefinitely extended to a point where people are just ditching metro areas. I'm seeing zillow projections that there will be a down swing but on my own general home hunt (we were planning like next summer so I'm just looking for options and neighborhoods) basically it seems like there are massively fewer options in the cities and what does pop up is either going in 1-2 days or is utter shit being listed extremely high. In general it seems like prices have increased due to the low inventory. And it makes sense as there is still a solidly middle/upper class that is making normal money right now and spending less given all the restrictions. In the country I do suspect it will start to become a sellers market as people may begin feeling there's no need to pay 3x if they can work from home. But for now I am seeing the local metro seems ok as well. Hell if prices tank in the next year I'd be looking good to hop into one of the trendier just out of down town neighborhoods in Raleigh. I'd be cool with that.

Most tablets will have a native app on their store (usually free) that will process the e-reader file format. For a while I was using my old Samsung Galaxy Tab. You certainly don't need a dedicated e-reader unless you really don't want any of the other features (not sure of price points - my old tab was only 8" so it was near enough to a kindle size). I prefer book though and if I can I like to attempt to find what I am looking for in a store. Or if through amazon go with one of their partners who are often smaller stores throughout the country.

Thanks! I never even noticed the book app on my I Pad. Looks like it has many choices. I also prefer paper and there is a great bookstore in our city that I go to. I always have something on my tablet though so I can read in bed and not bother my wife.

Half the time she comes in and then kicks me out if I want to get another few pages in to end a chapter. Otherwise I do feel like I can focus better with a book. A tablet has too many other distractions and also the weird sense of not feeling like I'm progressing. I read Marcus Aurelius' Meditations on my phone as a free book type of thing. That was brutal. I ended up ordering multiple scotches on a plane and just knocking it out to be done with it.

You don't have that sense of where you are in the book.

You should go protest outside of mojos. Why protest in front of a bar that's been closed for the last three months. It looks like the bars will be opening next week. Except in the Bay Area. They don't want the population drinking in public yet
