At this point of the season probably. I think Dell is listening to Nabakov and it's starting to sink in how he should be playing the position. Most of the time Jones is lost

Some sloppy play in front of Jones. How does the leagues best PK team not know how to manage EN situations? It is not just this game. They have struggled with this quite a bit.

This team continuing to push forward with Jones is the height of insanity. Name another NHLer who has performed worse over the last two years than Jones. Since they streamlined goalie gear two years ago his game has fallen off a cliff and he can't find it and there's zero reason to believe he will find it. His game is about getting square and blocking the puck but today the game is too fast and shooters are too good.
Not that it matters now because it's much too late but firing DeBoer and promoting his assistant made no change. They might as well fire Boughner too because he has no future here. Jones should be sent down regardless of the consequences.
This probably isn't rock bottom (sadly) but they've removed any doubts that they're on the right track to get there.

Still not watching and not intending to start.
If they're not in 50% by the end of the month I'll cancel my subscription.

This is my least favorite Sharks team ever. This...100%.

This is my least favorite Sharks team ever. 92-93 still owns that one for me, but this may be the most disappointing.

The reason for the tonight's debacle has been found: The frog deleted the tweet later, though.

I watched the Replay of the game last night Sharks feed(Only the 3rd period) and Brett Hedican says after Couture scored, Couture just iced the game for the Sharks, What a knucklehead, doesn't he know that this is the Sharks & with Jones in net nothing is over until the horn goes off, Hedican had to eat Crow last night. At least he came out & said Jones is too deep in the net & needs to Challenge the Shooters(Kind of putting the last 2 on Jones, Which we know Jones is horrible

Sharks have struggled vs EN this year. I think they gave one or two up to Chicago earlier in the season though they managed to win that one.

One of the worst losses I've ever seen by the Fins. Choke at its finest. Jones...bench him. Burns...bench him too, he needs a reminder that he needs to play defense. And I agree this team might be the worst.

Both Jones and Dell have identical .894SV% since 2018/2019. Over the same span the Sharks have average 29 shots against per game, only one team has allowed less. I'm not a big stat guy (maybe cjelli could help) but looking at this chart as I understand it tells me the Sharks haven't been good defensively over the last few years but it hasn't really been awful. Only area they've struggled is in high danger scoring changes against, but even then their not in the bottom ten. High danger scoring chances for, their top five so their top ten in percent for. Scoring chances for, they're top 10. Scoring changes against, they're ninth best, scoring chance percent for, their top ten again. In terms of scoring, their middle of the pack for but save percentage they're right n ear the bottom in both categories. Again, maybe I'm reading the stats wrong or deriving conclusions completely wrong but what it looks like matches the eye-test. San Jose has been good-to-great generating offense and not quite as good at converting them. Stopping chances they've been overall better than average but not great. Stopping them, it's been a disaster. An unmitigated, undeniable, irrefutable, disaster. www.naturalstattrick.com/teamtable.php?fromseason=20182019&thruseason=20192020&stype=2&sit=5v5&score=all&rate=n&team=all&loc=B&gpf=410&fd=&td=

I disagree with isolation of 5on5 - enough game is played and decided in special teams, and the last game is an evidence as well.

Toronto is probably the only team I don't mind Edmonton beating.
