I hope not, that would be a huge problem. At the very least, some how get put on LTIR and give the sharks more cap space. I gave him the benefit of doubt after the miscarriage, but all the problems between last year and now is way to much. I'm sure he will label the Sharks organization as "racist" if they try to get rid of him now. Worth noting problems he had in Winnipeg (locker room) and Buffalo (criminal allegations/lawsuit). To go off the old saying, there's been smoke around him his whole career. Have zero doubt there's been some fires. Too bad because he's exactly the kind of player San Jose has needed for a long time and for the most part, he's filled the role well. Replacing him wouldn't be easy, and at this point it's fair to wonder if he'd be welcome anywhere else, but it's clear he's got some issues that probably aren't going away.

Ya seem like he matured but in reality he was just better at hiding it lol. But 7 mil (assuming there isn't a penalty on the cap) could get a decent player. Too bad its so late in the process now that the decent FAs are gone.

Boughner: Evander Kane on board for 20-21 campaign Evander Kane will play in the 2020-21 campaign, according to Sharks coach Bob Boughner.
Advice: Kane is $26.8 million in debt and filed for bankruptcy as a result. There was speculation that debtors might terminate his contract or he might opt out of the season because of health concerns, but it seems he's still going forward with the San Jose Sharks. "I don't think we're worried about a distraction," Boughner said. "I won't make a comment on any player's personal situation, but I am assured that he will be here for the whole season and that he's on board." Kane had 26 goals, 47 points, and 122 penalty minutes in 64 contests in 2019-20. If he can manage to block out everything else that's happening when he plays, he should bring the same blend of skill and grit to the ice that he has in the past. Rotoworld.com Today, 2:43 pm

Having his entire family on the gravy train isn’t helping him. Now we know why he was pushing for a fight with That youtube clown.

For never was a story of more woe ... Fantasy death pool? Yeah. I am playing in this fantasy game where you're only allowed to use players from one team of your choice, it's the sixth year already, and the roster has never looked as pathetic as this.

Ouch, good luck with that It's a non-competitive league. I won it in 2015/16 and finished 3rd in 2018/19. The only skills required there are to bench the goalies if the goalie stats battle is already decided in your favor, and to track who is going in and out of the roster.

I think my first comment will be: I missed you. I missed this league. And I miss the sport. It’s been my life’s work for the most part. This is my 30th season with the team. I’m 62 years old. I don’t suspect I have another career in me. I don’t expect to do anything other than what I do now. So this is what I do. And it’s part of my identity, as well, like all of us in what we do.
-Randy Hahn, TV play-by-play man for the San Jose Sharks, when asked, Have you considered what you might say to the fans when you come on the air for the first game? by Lisa Dillman of The Athletic. More (paid) broadcasters as they prepare for this season. Remember, they will be calling road games from a monitor.
Another tidbit from Hahn, his girlfriend owns a cupcake shop in San Jose...
From the middle of March until the end of July, I would get up every day and go to the shop, load up a tiny little boxy car called a Scion. I would just literally deliver cupcakes every day. It was funny because sometimes it would be Sharks fans getting them. Even with a mask on, they go, “Wait a minute. Are you Randy Hahn? I can’t believe it.”

Auston Matthews and Mitch Marner have both played close to 18 minutes so far for the Leafs.
Joe Thornton already closing in on 14 minutes through two periods.
Hows your wind Jumbo? This is why I was still looking for Hyman in drafts this year.

Just heard Pete DeBoer say VGK is going with 5 defense and 13 forwards. Seriously? Never heard of that before.

Jumbo looked pretty good. His minutes will have to go down of course. Spezza looked pretty good as well, way better than two "over the hill" guys.

So just heard.... Evander Kane is declaring bankruptcy, may terminate his contract citing "health concerns" for newborn baby. Does anyone know how much of that will hit the cap for the next 4 years? He has impulse control problems. This is just one way it manifests. It wont end well for him. Why would a team take that much of chance on a person with these issues?

Gonna take some getting used to the Avs in blue pants and helmets rather than black but I don't hate it.
