No way... The consensus was that Seattle would take J. Allen for the back up position. There is about to be some craziness going down. If you are Ron Francis... How do you not take Price? With picking 2nd (as of know) in the draft, they could have nhl ready talent on entry level contracts to help with the cap hit. |

I feel like this Seattle draft is going to look better than Vegas did on paper at least. I believe so too. GMs were very proactive this year so they wouldn't have to give up an arm/leg to protect certain players. Seattle wont have to flip so many picks/players for a good roster. I know plenty of the "experts" say Seattle wont have the same success Vegas did, but with the exp. format it would be almost impossible not to have a good squad from the start. It is no where near back when the other expansion teams were given the trash leftovers. |
