Excellent! Glad you had a good time Denver. My oldest drove up from Daytona Beach to spend a few days with us. Youngest is stationed in Texas and couldn’t get leave but he’ll be here for Christmas. We went up to the youngest house in Susanville found out we're going to be grandparents again! Offered to pay for oldest to come out from Texas, he's going to school to be a Vet. tech. in Houston, but he had just got a job working for veterinary medical hospital. Bad for us but good for him, hopefully he will be able to come out for Christmas. Our oldest is going to work from our home for ten days later this month so that will be nice. Wont be here for Christmas though, They grow up and they leave......bittersweet. |

I looked over at my wife last night as we were watching a show and she was crying…of course, I had no idea what I’d done this time! but it ended up she was just missing our youngest When the oldest left to join the Navy wife cried and had moments where I could tell she was thinking and missing him, with the youngest it was different because he was still close to home, and even is Susanville it's still not to far away. The sweet part comes when you think that you did things right and they're on their own and doing great. The bitter part comes when you realize all the work you used to make them do, now you have to do. LOL |

It's happening, there's wet stuff falling from the sky. Why don't we track the rainfall at Lake Berryessa this winter. Let's see if this drought thing is real like Governor Slick Hair says it is Lake Berryessa Statistics - December 13, 2021 Be the first on your block to know that the official rainfall total at Monticello Dam just hit 9.47 inches and it's still coming down. Last year the total rainfall at Monticello Dam was only 9.44 inches! LOL I'm either 12 years or 17 years away, though i am really liking the 12. The suck part, no SSI till 2 years after retiring if I do it at 60 and less of the "pension" if you will but that makes 30 years with the School District. Or I wait till 65 for a higher percent etc. Anyway good times! And yes you are all beautiful old people! |
