Old players on the decline with lots of money owed and years under contract are a bad mix. They have some kids that might turn out but there’s still too much on Couture, Vlasic, Burns, and Karlsson to make this work. |

Also want to mention just how passive Burns’ game looks now. It’s the same mistakes as always but none of the impact plays he used to make. He doesn’t hit anyone.
