It came up on the wife's Facebook page that six years ago yesterday June 4th that we were at the only game the Sharks won in their bid to win the Shiny thing. Oh well I guess there's always next year, right.

Usually fans won't look for 'turnng points' in a 4-0 sweep, but COL/EDM had some momentum swings and at times the Oil did look 'alive'.
Game 3, Oilers were back home and the mood was electric. McJesus scores a goal 30 seconds in and the roof blows off the place. 40 more seconds later, Kane chops Kadri down hard on a dirty play and takes a 5 minute boarding major. Avs somehow didn't score on that PP, but took 11 shots and deflated the building.
Oilers gave up that early lead, then trailed going into the 3rd. Kane put the series momentum buster on his team, IMO. Also made me remember all the bad and horribly timed penalties he took with the Sharks. A pretty good hockey player, but theres something else about Kane's game thats selfishly out of control.

Oilers hockey is the most entertaining hockey by far. Every game you can expect a dozen goals and high drama. Hell of a run. Ken Holland put a ceiling on them with the d corps he assembled, but that was fun.
Hats off to makar and Colorado shutting them down so thoroughly, defense was their downfall years past.
Draisaitl still dominant with one ankle, unbelievable. Made him a liability defending sometimes but fit into this playoff perfectly.
If rags survive I expect Colorado to chew them up
