The amount of people I know who swear by (or at) AC for their poor service is at a record high and growing. 20 years ago I was told it was the best service in North America. Sic Transit. Last year we booked a flight to Israel (Columbus - Toronto - Tel-Aviv). AC cancelled our return flight from Toronto to Columbus, rebooked us onto a flight that leaves Toronto before the Tel-Aviv - Toronto flight arrives, and informed us of a "flight change", so that our new layover is ... -1h50m. Yes. Negative time. We had to cancel the flight altogether, book a 2-layover flight elsewhere on a short notice at a higher price, and what compensation were we offered? A 10% discount on the next order. |
