Yeah, seeing Joe go sucks a bit, but that contract at this stage would have been doubling down on the past which is no longer the winning recipe in the league.
I am very curious to see how this plays out as even with Marleau the sharka are going to be short a top 6 winger. Not to mention the goaltender spot.

Weird how #12 seems to be forcing DWs roster decisions. Maybe they got it worked out already fix is in. but if Patty is teal again he’s a 4C. He’s got to backcheck hard or sit his ass. If he’s going to push his own NHL records by playing on, he better skate fucking hard. Got him on a short leash already. DW will make other moves soon for the top six I think. |
