The organisers of the AfroFuture Fest, set for 3-4 August, are charging lower rates for tickets bought by "people of colour" than for "non-people of colour". Early bird tickets for "POC" were $10 and $20 for "Non-POC". There were also some "POC" tickets which were free but they have now sold out. Later date pricing offers "POC" tickets for $20 and "Non-POC" tickets for $40. It was not immediately clear what the method was for confirming race and identity of ticket purchasers. The organisers explained their pricing in the "frequently asked questions" section of their event website. It stated: "Why do we have POC (people of colour) and Non-POC (white people) tickets? I'm glad you asked! Equality means treating everyone the same. "Equity is insuring (sic) everyone has what they need to be successful. Our ticket structure was built to insure (sic) that the most marginalised communities (people of colour) are provided with an equitable chance at enjoying events in their own community (black Detroit)." Wakanda that is Detroit? They stopped the white tierd pricing. No explanation given

Offset will NOT be prosecuted by Georgia for gun possession -- the charges have been dropped, but they were only dropped so the feds could continue an even bigger investigation. The Clayton County D.A.'s office tells TMZ ... prosecutors dismissed all charges on July 1 against the Migos rapper. However, according to docs, the D.A. decided to stand down at the request of the U.S. Attorney's Office. Turns out the feds are in the middle of an investigation ... and that's the only reason Offset was pulled over in the first place. In docs, county prosecutors say the feds were concerned if they took Offset to trial for gun possession they'd have to tip their hand about information related to a larger investigation. Prosecutors aren't disclosing what that investigation is about, but say pursuing Offset's case "would alert other potential future parties to the investigation and evidence that may support federal charges against said parties."

Race baiting lying sack of shit poisoning the minds of the young while in school:
Rep. Ilhan Omar admitted that she may have embellished part of the story she told to high school students in an apparent attempt to showcase racial and economic disparities in the country.
The Minnesota Democrat recently told hundreds of Richfield High School students that about five years ago, when she was working as a Minneapolis city councilman, she witnessed an example of injustice that shook her to the core.
She recalled a “sweet, old… African-American lady” who was detained for a whole weekend for stealing a $2 loaf of bread to feed her “starving 5-year-old granddaughter,” according to the Washington Post, and screamed an expletive in court after the woman was fined $80 for the crime.
“I couldn’t control my emotions," Omar told students, “because I couldn’t understand how a roomful of educated adults could do something so unjust.”
“Omar’s story echoed the plot of ‘Les Miserables.' If true, it is also probably embellished,” the newspaper claimed. “City officials said that police aren’t allowed to arrest people for shoplifting unless there’s a likelihood of violence or further crime. Typically, shoplifters are sentenced to attend a three-hour class.”
Omar apparently “flubbed some facts” when telling the story to the students and told the newspaper that the woman may have not been just a one-time innocent shoplifter.
“She might have had a prior [arrest],” Omar said. “I’m not sure…The details might not have all matched, but that’s what I remember.

Late last month, Rapinoe said no team could win without gay players on the team.
“Go gays,” Rapinoe said, according to Yahoo Sports. “You can’t win a championship without gays on your team. It’s never been done before. Ever. That’s science right there.”
After the U.S. won on Sunday, the team’s Twitter account responded to a tweet that contained Rapinoe’s quote. The team’s Twitter wrote, “Told ya,” along with a picture of Rapinoe, Ali Krieger and Ashlyn Harris. Krieger and Harris are engaged to each other.
Rapinoe added to the tweet, saying: “We already discussed this. Science is science. Gays rule.”

Then it's "You can't win a championship without a transgender".

So Biden has made a bunch of money speaking and writing a book. That is all fair game but we also see this all too common arraignment that both parties seem to enjoy. Its not illegal but sure looks like legal bribery. And yes I am well aware both parties do this.
A list of charitable donations shows that a year before the International Association of Firefighters (IAFF) endorsed Biden for president in April 2019, the Bidens donated $25,000 to the IAFF Foundation and $10,000 to another fire department. A Biden spokesman indicated on Twitter after the documents' release that this donation was for the foundation's disaster relief fund.

More taxpayer abuse.
A Long Island Rail Road worker who raked in more than $280,000 in pay last year — more than half from overtime — was busted hanging out at home while on the clock, according to a report obtained by The Post.
But he was allowed to retire before he could be punished — and collect his full pension on the public dime.
Raymond Murphy, a foreman with the LIRR’s Buildings and Bridges department who’d been at the agency since 1996, was caught by the MTA’s Inspector General at or near his home on 10 occasions when he was on duty in April, May and June 2018, the Aug. 8 report says.
But he says he has nothing to apologize for.
“I’m retired now and that’s all I have to say,” Murphy said at his East Northport home Tuesday morning.
Murphy was one of the top earners in the whole MTA in 2017 — making a jaw-dropping $405,021, with $295,490 coming from overtime, according to data from government watchdog group the Empire Center.

Protesters were out in force in a Minnesota city this week, upset over the city council's decision to stop reciting the Pledge of Allegiance at the start of their meetings.
The decision was announced by the St. Louis Park City Council after a unanimous vote on June 17. The amendment to the council's rules was characterized as an effort to serve a more “diverse community."
“We concluded that in order to create a more welcoming environment to a diverse community we’re going to forgo saying the Pledge of Allegiance before every meeting,” Council Member Tim Brausen said ahead of the vote.

The so called community
A 36-year-old man in Louisiana has been arrested after filming himself licking a tub of Blue Bell ice cream and returning it to a store's freezer. The man, Lenise Martin III, was allegedly copying a teenager's viral video in which she performed the same act at a Walmart in Texas.
In the video, which was shared online, Martin can be seen licking the opened tub of ice cream twice and sticking his finger inside of it before smiling at the camera and placing it back in the store's freezer.

A federal appeals court Wednesday sided with President Trump, dismissing a lawsuit claiming the president is illegally profiting from foreign and state government visitors at his luxury hotel in downtown Washington.
The unanimous ruling from the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 4th Circuit is a victory for the president in a novel case brought by the attorneys general of Maryland and the District of Columbia involving anti-corruption provisions in the emoluments clauses of the U.S. Constitution.
In its ruling, the three-judge panel said the attorneys general lacked legal standing to bring the lawsuit alleging the president is violating the Constitution when his business accepts payments from state and foreign governments. The decision — from Judges Paul V. Niemeyer, Dennis W. Shedd and A. Marvin Quattlebaum Jr. — also stops dozens of subpoenas to federal government agencies and Trump’s private business entities for financial records related to the D.C. hotel.
“The District and Maryland’s interest in enforcing the Emoluments Clauses is so attenuated and abstract that their prosecution of this case readily provokes the question of whether this action against the President is an appropriate use of the courts, which were created to resolve real cases and controversies between the parties,” Niemeyer wrote in the 36-page opinion.
President Trump quickly took to Twitter to celebrate the ruling, referring to the lawsuit as “ridiculous” and “a big part of the Deep State and Democrat induced Witch Hunt.”
“I don’t make money, but lose a fortune for the honor of serving and doing a great job as your President (including accepting Zero salary!),” he wrote.
The president has stepped back from day-to-day management of the Trump International Hotel and his other businesses, but he maintains ownership.
His attorney Jay Sekulow called the dismissal a “complete victory.” “This latest effort at Presidential harassment has been dismissed with prejudice,” he said.
Maryland Attorney General Brian E. Frosh and D.C. Attorney General Karl A. Racine, both Democrats, have said they would consider appealing for a rehearing by a full panel of the 4th Circuit and would not be surprised to see the case reach the Supreme Court.
The president is facing series of legal challenges related to his private business, including a separate lawsuit from Congressional Democrats. The emoluments clauses at issue in the 4th Circuit case were designed to prevent undue influence on government officials but have never been applied in court to a sitting president.
A federal appeals court in Washington is considering a separate “emoluments” lawsuit brought by Congressional Democrats, who this week began issuing dozens of subpoenas for financial records from the president’s private entities. The case extends beyond the D.C. hotel.

I’m a little surprised Texas is that high; its usually very close to here. I filled up for $2.26 yesterday. Of course, I’m never surprised at the stupidity of California. I wonder if Gov. Newsom is still doing his investigation into why gas prices are so high there...or if one of his staffers broke the news to him that one of the primary reasons for those prices are gas tax increases instituted by democrats.

The so called community strikes again.
PHILADELPHIA (CBS) – Police are investigating after several teens stormed into a Philadelphia Wawa on Wednesday afternoon, stealing several items and throwing ice at customers. The chaotic scene unfolded at the Society Hill store on the 500 block of South 2nd Street around 3:45 p.m.
For the second time in less than a week teenagers stormed into a South Street business. Workers are fed up and want these “disrespectful” teens punished.
“They’re so disrespectful. They have no morals at all,” Fred Bedford, who works on South Street, said.
Bedford works at Head House Flats and says this is nothing new for the area.

Yes but no charges will be filed as there will be no snitching........... Do you need a snitch when the video exists? It appears the answer is no and as you can see my no snitching prediction was spot on. The parties involved all denied anything occurred and we were not there to witness it," the department tweeted on Monday. "The videos that were not available at the moment [now] make things clear and the case has been presented to prosecutors."
