Didn't we learn anything from 9/11?

Democratic presidential candidate Marianne Williamson got slammed on social media after she apparently fell for a fake news story Sunday night that claimed President Trump pardoned Charles Manson, the murderous cult leader who died in 2017.
"There is something deeply sinister about Trump pardoning Charles Manson, even posthumously," she wrote to her 2.8 million Twitter followers. "Dog whistles of the very worst possible kind..."

When will we ever learn?
(Bloomberg) -- When U.S. prosecutors charged an Apple Inc. engineer in January with stealing trade secrets for a Chinese startup, a search of his home turned up something else, they said: a classified file from the Patriot missile program that belonged to his ex-employer, Raytheon Co.
The discovery has added a striking national security wrinkle to an otherwise routine corporate espionage case, and the government says it merits keeping Jizhong Chen under close scrutiny.
The Patriot document was discovered among numerous electronic devices and paper files from Chen’s former employers including General Electric -- some of which were stamped “confidential,” according to prosecutors.
Chen, a U.S. citizen who was arrested on his way to catch a flight to China, is awaiting trial on charges that he collected photos, schematics and manuals from his work on Apple’s tightly guarded self-driving car project as he prepared to take a job with an unidentified rival.
He has pleaded not guilty and remains free on $500,000 bail. But prosecutors argue the stash of sensitive data found in Maryland justifies subjecting him to location monitoring with an electronic device so he doesn’t disappear before his trial.
Lawyers representing Chen and a second former Apple engineer facing similar charges -- who is also fighting prosecutors over the need for location monitoring -- contend the government is exaggerating the risk they’ll try to flee.
The 2011 document relating to one of Raytheon’s best-known weapons was so secret that it “was not (and is not) permitted to be maintained outside of Department of Defense secured locations,” prosecutors said in an Oct. 29 filing that hasn’t previously been reported on by the media. Chen “has, for over eight years, illegally possessed classified national security materials taken from a former employer.”
How a classified document ended up at an engineer’s home raises provocative questions, but they’re unlikely be answered in open court at a hearing set for Monday. A prosecutor and an attorney for Chen both declined to comment ahead of the hearing. A Raytheon spokeswoman didn’t respond to a request for comment.

After prosecutors first raised concerns about the evidence they found in Maryland, a magistrate judge agreed in March to extend an electronic monitoring requirement to give the government time to investigate. She finally ordered an end to the monitoring in October -- and prosecutors are now asking a district judge to overrule her.
Lawyers for Chen say prosecutors have had enough time to present further evidence of criminal conduct. They also note that the federal office that supervises defendants on probation has concluded monitoring is no longer necessary because Chen has complied with all the conditions of his release and found full-time employment.
Daniel Olmos represents both Chen and Zhang Xiaolang, who also worked on Apple’s autonomous driving project before he was arrested in July 2018 and accused of trying to take the company’s trade secrets to China-based XMotors. The lawyer makes an argument that goes to the heart of the cases against both men: There’s no evidence that Apple’s intellectual property was shared with a third party. That’s significant because possession of the information alone isn’t necessarily a crime.
Olmos also contends that each of the engineers has strong ties in the U.S. and the trips they were about to take to China when they were arrested were planned for the purpose of visiting relatives, not escaping prosecution.
“The government’s argument that Mr. Zhang poses a flight risk because he is a Chinese citizen is insufficient to warrant GPS monitoring,” Olmos said in a filing. “Mr. Zhang has full-time employment, a new family, and no travel documents.”
The cases are U.S. v. Chen, 19-cr-00056, and U.S. v. Zhang, 18-cr-00312, U.S. District Court, Northern District of California (San Jose).

It looks like a company in Wisconsin didn’t get the whole gun control memo, after they decided to give every employee a handgun as a Christmas present. Last year, Ben Shot, a company that produces novelty glassware embedded with a bullet, stated that giving their employees a choice of revolver as a gift is part of an effort to promote team building and personal safety. The company has 16 full-time employees, including several veterans, and some who have never fired a gun. This is the first time the company decided to give employees a handgun. The father-son business started in 2015 in a small garage workshop in a village of 3,000 residents, 100 miles northwest of Milwaukee. Several employees were excited about the Christmas gift, and feel that it will empower them and keep them safe. Yet, at least two employees did state they initially declined the gift but considered accepting it after taking a gun safety course that company executives required before gifting the guns. Employees had the opportunity to choose which type of gun they wanted with a value of up t0 $500. Some chose smaller firearms, while others picked larger ones which allowed to company to have money left over. They decided to buy additional equipment like hostess and ammunition.

Oracle, a major Silicon Valley tech company, will move its annual OpenWorld conference to Las Vegas next year due to San Francisco’s expensive hotel rates and the city’s “poor street conditions,” according to reports.
The loss of OpenWorld, which has been held in San Francisco for about 20 years, is raising new concerns about whether the city’s struggles with homelessness, open drug use and street violence may be scaring off tourism and other business, the San Francisco Chronicle reported.
“For the industry, for the city, to have a major conference leave us impacts all of us,” Kevin Carroll, chief executive of the Hotel Council of San Francisco, which represents hotel owners, told the newspaper.

I am going to go out in a limb and guess the so called community is once again the perp that killed a cop. For some strange reason they won’t release a name and post his pic.
Police in Texas are on the hunt Wednesday for a suspect who struck and killed an officer with his vehicle while fleeing a traffic stop Tuesday night.
The man, who police say likely still has one handcuff attached to his wrist, is accused of driving into 43-year-old Nassau Bay Sgt. Kaila Sullivan outside an apartment complex in the Houston area. His vehicle later was discovered abandoned and Sullivan, a 15-year veteran of the department, died at a hospital

Domestic spying on the opposition party using FBI falsified, DNC paid-for dossier filled FISA Warrants vs. 'I'd like you to do me a favor.." Stuns me how the mass media shelters all this.

The so called community has a strict no snitch policy: Here is the victim: NYPD detectives on Thursday were questioning two teens about the brutal slaying of a Barnard College freshman in Morningside Heights, authorities said. A teen grabbed near the scene where Tessa Majors was knifed to death during a robbery in Morningside Park Wednesday night, was released after questioning. NYPD Chief of Detectives Rodney Harrison said two minor teenagers are being questioned with their parents in regards to the killing. “We are still in the preliminary stages, but we do have a couple of people we are questioning at the 26th Precinct at this time,” Harrison said. “We’re going to need the community to help us with the investigation.”

The so called community: Had something like that happen to me about two minutes into a preseason match. Nobody saw it except my coach. Knowing that I'd surely retaliate, he pulled me from the game. I had to stand on the sidelines, in my socks as he demanded my cleats, for the remaining 80+ minutes. I was fucking pissed off! Good news was that we had a rematch already scheduled for two weeks later. Oh yeah, I retaliated and then some. Heavy on the and then some. At the time, it was appropriate in my mind. Looking back, way over the top...way...

Another game of guess the race of the perp. There is no identification for the race of the 13 year old boy or his friends that were there but can there be any doubt that they are black? No father at home?
New York City police arrest 13-year-old suspect in fatal stabbing of Barnard College student, sources say originally appeared on abcnews.go.com
New York City police have arrested a 13-year-old boy in connection with the fatal stabbing of a Barnard College student, according to three law enforcement sources.
The sources told ABC News that the juvenile suspect is facing charges of murder, robbery and weapons possession after he allegedly made statements linking himself to Wednesday's killing of Tessa Rane Majors, an 18-year-old freshman at the private women's liberal arts college which sits just outside Morningside Park in Upper Manhattan, alongside Columbia University. Detectives believe there may have been as many as three people involved in the incident, the sources said.
