So NHL Network I must pay extra, even though I paid for Center Ice in 2019/20. Man you would think they would include it with CI, but no they just want your f-in money!

talk about a bust with my cox cable. So NHL Network I must pay extra, even though I paid for Center Ice in 2019/20. So I guess I have to wait till they air games on on MSNCNBC-12345678910 or whatever the hell they go by now for us here in So Cal. yea I have no clue on the TV coverage for this quickie season, but I figure there should be at least one game on a national channel (NBCSN?) per day or every other day. Not sure it’s worth paying big dough to access 8 games a day. As long as u can mute all the Bridgestone and Chevy truck commercials, we should get to see hockey pretty often. BTW, wonder how that ice is holding up? 4 NHL games a day on same surfaces, They must have all the ICE experts Inside the bubble at these 2 arenas.. Buddy says something looks ‘flat’ about the games already.. |

It’ll probably take a handful of games to get going. Energy will be there and going through all they have already there’s no doubt that players will want to extend their stay to make it worth it. Can you imagine going through training camp in summer, quarantines, bubble life, and then get swept out of the RTP in three games?
I’m sure there’ll be a lot of sloppy hockey but sometimes that’s the best hockey. I think the energy will come sooner rather than later.

The announcers saying Reaves is not a dirty hockey player at all is over the top. He plays on the line. Sometimes he crosses over. Not a blatant dirty player but hardly a lady Bing candidate. |

I’m not saying I think he should be, as I’m in the “NHL has gotten soft” camp...but people got suspended for way less recently. I personally don't see a dirty play here, just see a player getting sandwiched akwardly. Reaves elbow not up, leads with shoulder anticipating some contact. ok. But his name is Reaves so all need to scrutinize it, I guess.. Hockey is back! |

I appreciate the message trying to be delivered, I really do, but the delivery is the problem. That is because kneeling for the American anthem or American flag is extremely disrespectful to a 1% group of the nation's inhabitants. It raises the question... When a group is trying to spread the message that a certain group is being shit on by another group of people, then why would it be okay for that group to disrespect another group in the process of spreading their message? |

Not sure many of those kneeling are jews. My take is Kaepernick was doing something to both make a statement while still respecting the symbol. He wasn't painting BLM on his chest and running around the field. Anyway, hockey's back. Carolina and NYR have been pretty physical. Couple suicide passes through the middle and some good hits along the boards. |
