I agree dump him, I don’t think Wilson has the stones to do it because he will have egg all over his face. Trades for Kane, then gives Kane a 7 year deal, shows how desperate Wilson was/is. Don’t think it’s a matter of Wilson being willing or not. He’s jettisoned guys for way less than this. The issue is zero other teams would gamble on him now (pun intended). That’s why I say I hope they can terminate his contract and start over. He worked super hard to get all the party boys (Seto, etc.) away from Couture, so... |

But I would think with his actions towards his wife/kid/unbornkid and the bankruptcy could give enough leverage for termination as well. *Disclaimer* This is of course that the allegations are true, a serious investigation must be done just like the situation in Chicago, just because she said it is true, doesn't automatically make it so with no proof. But I must say it does not look good for him at this point in time. |

And I’m saying all of that as someone who supported Kane almost his whole time here. Thought maybe his race played a part in him getting a bad reputation and recognized that his blend of speed, skill, and aggression was something the Sharks had lacked for years. He was the perfect kind of winger they needed in their top six and he seemed to find a home here. But call a spade a spade, his bad rep is well earned and it hasn’t changed in his time with San Jose. Wow thats bad. If there is any small chance that any of that truly happened... The sharks need to separate asap. I would hope the NHL would let them terminate without a penalty like John96 said. But then again the sharks have been in the doghouse since they beat Vegas that one time lol. At this point, if Kanes contract comes off the books... Eichel is that much more obtainable lol. Not a fan of going for Eichel but 100% support dumping Kane… |

I don’t think it’s crazy to assume Kane and his wife are both exaggerating their claims and going through divorce can surely bring out the worst in people. The facts will come out so I’ll just wait for that.
As for betting on your own games, if you only bet on your team I don’t have a problem with that.
You wouldn’t see many guys taking shifts off if they only got paid after a W.

Granted I would like the Kane thing solved as fast as possible just so the sharks can move on before the season starts and filling that spot isn't possible anymore. But the Chicago thing has been hushed up for a decade now. They say "transparency" but no one knows what the investigation is doing. And while betting on your own team is a big deal, the alleged sexual assault coverup is a lot bigger deal. |

Going through a Divorce after 28 Years of Marriage myself, I can attest to the fact that things get greatly exaggerated. With that being said, if You watch the way Kane carries himself, there is a possibility that there could be some substance to these claims. My soon to be ex and I can be civil one Day, the next Day she’s Gone off the rails! Anyone who’s gone through a divorce knows it’s horrible; let alone being Pregnant and having those hormones all fucked up!
