Wah, we wanna hotdog on the worst franchise in the league and get away with it, wah. Oh well, too bad they had a tough guy that could’ve done something about this. Maybe they can threaten Beagle with that third round pick they got instead, haha.

Obviously it isn’t apples to apples but remember when the Pens did this:
And it resulted in this: Let the man himself explain:

* The Kings, the highest-seeded California-based team and the NHL’s second-youngest club (26.1 years old) this season, are looking to secure their first berth into the Stanley Cup Playoffs since 2017-18. Since Anaheim skated in its inaugural season in 1993-94, at least one California-based franchise has qualified for the postseason in all but three campaigns (1996, 2020 and 2021). Fuck you Pete DeBoer

Is it too late to trade for Beagle (I had no idea he was still playing this season lmao) ? Zegra is acting like a spoiled kid here, he pokes the goalie and gets a cross check and is upset because he was held accountable. I think the sharks need to take note and act more like Beagle ( he beat the brakes off Terry haha) and more play stupid games win stupid prizes.

They need to quit crying, those cross checks happen every single game in the NHL. Granted I do believe they need to eliminated from the game as a whole but thats a different conversation.

What’s just as bad are all the people on Twitter just dragging Tyson Nash for his commentary. Guy played pro hockey for ten years, NHL for six, and these people think he doesn’t get it. Hockey fans these days have no stomach, just soft.

Laughable they called Nash an enforcer. Zegras was embarrassing in that interview he did, looking over his shoulder like he thought Beagle was coming for him any second. Yeah Jay Beagle, the new Bob Probert. Embarrassing. Don’t embarrass the other team, don’t hotdog, don’t jab at goalies when you’re up 5-0 with a few minutes left, don’t jump into scrums if you aren’t tough, don’t stand there like a statue with your gloves on when someone starts punching you, don’t act surprised when your opponent doesn’t want to treat you like a friend,, and above all don’t act like they aren’t consequences for your actions and it isn’t up to you what their reactions are. No sympathy for Zegras, Terry, the Ducks, or any of the soft fans with their thoughtless hot takes.

from Michael Stephens of The Hockey News,
Some terrible news regarding a hockey legend.
On Sunday evening, multiple reports surfaced to indicate that NHL Hall of Famer and former New York Islanders legend, Mike Bossy has opted to enter palliative care during his fight with lung cancer.
According to the reports, Bossy's condition has unfortunately worsened in recent months, and, rather than endure the physical rigors of further aggressive treatment, the 65-year-old has decided to return home and enjoy his remaining time surrounded by his family.

Mike Bossy is not only a great player but a 1st class human. 573 goals in 752 games and had to retire after 10 years because of a bad back. When his time ends and he’s not suffering no more. That will be 3 Islanders players that have passed this year Gillies and Jean Potvin earlier this year. GOD bless all of them 🙏

Remember the Islanders played the first 13 games on the road(19 in total training camp) because of the new arena being finished, then Covid hit them and injuries. They will be back next year.
