I’ve said it before, I’ll say it again. No way the NHL lets the Sharks get Celebrini. Playing for the Sharks is like burying a guy in the Minors no exposure. That’s bad for the NHL. The majority of Hockey fans are asleep before puck drop at the tank, the NHL doesn’t want that with their young Super Stars, they want exposure to grow the game.
I went back through past drafts when there was a Generational talent for the number 1 pick.
If a Storied Franchise finished with the worst record, they won the draft lottery. If a Non storied franchise “any team in California” finished with the worst record, they lost the draft lottery.

Watched the oil game last night and it was just absolutely brutal. Nothing like 93’ but I saw this team has made a pretty strong push in historical goal differentials, worst in 20 years anyway
