start of first grade today for the little one, the two bigs leave for uh saturday. is summer really freaking over already? wtf First grade? But she was just a baby yesterday |

Kind of a shitty day today. Had to take our 17 year old dog to the vet. Vet said it sounds like she is in the onset of either liver or kidney failure. Won't know for sure until the blood test results tomorrow. At this point every day with her is a gift. Best wishes to you and your wife...17 years old? You’ve obviously taken great care of her. I don’t think I’ve ever heard of a dog that old. Smaller dogs can live longer lives than larger breeds like labs. She has definitely been spoiled rotten her entire life. |

AT&T Update: Comcast will be installing the new service next Wednesday. Can't wait to make the phone call to say "Fuck you and goodbye." I took my direct tv equipment to fedex today. You should see the stack of receivers they're sending back to AT&T just sitting on a table  |

You should see the stack of receivers they're sending back to AT&T just sitting on a table I spent half an hour on the phone with them yesterday explaining why I couldn't return the old wireless modem they just replaced. They were threatening to bill us $200.00 and I had to say "I can't return the old modem to you because your employee who replaced it took the old one with him when he left." Put me on hold for 10 minutes to come back and say "You can ignore the letter. The technician will drop by a UPS store to return the modem for you." I laughed and said "So let me get this straight, an AT&T employee has to return a not functioning modem to AT&T by going to the UPS Store? Are you stupid or just not listening to me? You already have the modem." |

Just talked to the vet about the older dogs blood work. Nothing of particularly troubling issues other than the beginning phases of kidney disease. He said for a dog her age it isn't unexpected. She also apparently has chronic liver issues so no more booze for the pooch.  |

(yes we have issues with crows where I live, it's a annoying!) the thing I miss the most about DTV is that some channels would allow us to watch the east coast feed. Cox doesn't allow that, so that sucks! |

I'm bummed about the large breed issues. Ours is already showing some signs of his legs/hips not being great. And he's already about 8 from our best estimate. |

Next week back to the button up collar and slacks. meanwhile off topic costco sent us a cash card since we bought a washer and dryer from them. So thanks for the 200 bucks, I guess! not complaining so now we must go to get stuff!  |
