Still unpacking as one does but man the commute is so much better.
Need to figure out our weird sprinkler system as the former owner left no manuals and some things were in an off position, so we think she stopped watering after the sale. luckily we have succulents in most areas that only require minimal watering.
We ordered bedroom furniture they other night and man that went over the budget I wanted.
But like everyone says, do things a little at a time. You are here for a very long time paying off this dang loan!
Or until I win the lotto or something to pay it off!

Took a few days up in Flagstaff. Their down town is like a funky little Santa Cruz vibe with breweries around (and good food, not taqueria good but actual legit culinary shit). Our Airbnb is a brand bew house with hot tub. And we got some cold brews in the fridge.
Oh, and it was only about 85 today and cooled off to high 60s this evening. Life is good.

Our Airbnb is a brand bew house with hot tub. And we got some cold brews in the fridge. Oh, and it was only about 85 today and cooled off to high 60s this evening. Life is good. it's a college town and the only place in AZ that apparently has 4 seasons. But my buddy who is in Apache Junction says it's one boring place to live. Visit yes but not live. |

No strip clubs were open either We had a great time the next night in Amarillo Texas of all places. Had a lot of fun there |

I can see this. The downtown has a good scene (5 or so breweries, a few good cocktail bars, multiple really solid restaurants) but it is a fucking tiny town. And most of the larger areas look like straight suburbs springing up with no added social hubs. Hiking today was good but not as spectacular as Sedona for example. Regarding seasons, the whole norther region gets 4 seasons. Sedona and Prescott certainly do. |

Just ate dinner at 11pm at a funcky pub that served cornish pastries. Had multiple stouts on nitro (plus a ton of other beer). Was not a bowling alley. |

A moment of silence.
WOODFORD COUNTY, Ky. -- Several fire crews in Kentucky are working to extinguish a fire at a Jim Beam warehouse facility filled with tens of thousands of barrels of bourbon, local outlets report.
Drew Chandler, the director of Woodford County Emergency Management, told WTVQ the fire ignited in two warehouses late Tuesday, and they were fully engulfed in flames by the time crews arrived. Multiple crews working together have been able to put out one fire but are still working on the second.
The cause of the fire is not confirmed but it could be lightning, Chandler said.
Chandler told WKYT-TV that about 45,000 barrels were in the facility that is still on fire. He said crews may be working well into Wednesday night.
