CNN banned me from their air because I was being too fair. I was trying to assess what the essential issue was, and I wasn’t being partisan. They didn’t want that. They didn’t want that.”
Dershowitz continued: “CNN wouldn’t have me on the air because they want a one-sided presentation, and everybody who watches CNN was shocked by the conclusions… no one who watches me was shocked.”

This is Chicago:
Jussie Smollett will not be prosecuted for allegedly faking a racial attack, because all charges have been dropped!!! Jussie and his lawyers will address the media at 8:45 AM PT. We will live stream.
Jussie and his lawyers ran to court Tuesday morning in Chicago, where he was facing 16 felony counts of lying to police in the alleged racial and homophobic attack.
Jussie will surrender his $10,000 bond. But, that's it. The case is over.
We're told the State's Attorney, Kim Foxx, told Chicago police she was dropping the case because Jussie would have only gotten community service if convicted and she said he has already performed community service so there is no point in prosecuting him. We could not find any record of Smollett doing community service.
We're told Chicago police are "furious" and feel something untoward is going on with Kim Foxx.

The so called media:
A report in Huffington Post recently revealed the case of Wikipedia editor Ed Sussman, who was paid by media clients such as NBC and Axios to help diminish critical material. Paid editors operating in a similar manner to Sussman have worked on behalf of CNN contributor Hilary Rosen and the CEOs of Reddit and Intel, among other clients. Other conduct by Sussman not covered by the Huffington Post shows him authoring fluff pieces for NBC executives and getting his proposed changes approved by another paid Wikipedia editor.
The report by Ashley Feinberg detailed former journalist Ed Sussman’s work as a paid Wikipedia fixer for clients such as Axios, NBC, and Facebook. Sussman did this work through the firm WhiteHatWiki, which he argues follows Wikipedia policies. Sussman disclosed his paid editing on Wikipedia and ostensibly worked within the rules by having other editors approve proposed changes.

Rahm Emanuel on Smollett: "You have a person using hate crime laws that are on the books to protect people who are minorities from violence, to then turn around and use those laws to advance your career and your financial reward, is there no decency in this man?"

Now this is well played:
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell will put the Green New Deal to a vote on Tuesday in a move that will force Democrats to take an official stand on the measure and thus pit the party’s moderates against its progressive wing.

Setting up for the election next year? Definitely. Get them on the record. To appease the hard left base they need to favor it but the middle of the country will not like it. This is a win win for the GOP.

At the rally in Auckland's Aotea Square, Ahmed Bhamji, chairman of the Mount Roskill Masjid E Umar, which is associated with The Federation of Islamic Associations of New Zealand, stated of the shooter who targeted the victims, “I really want to say one thing today. Do you think this guy was alone? … I want to ask you, where did he get the funding from? I will not mince words. I stand here and I say I have very, very strong suspicion that there is some group behind him and I am not afraid to say I feel that Mossad is behind this.”
An onlooker shouted, “It’s the truth! Israel is behind this. That's right!"
According to Newshub, Bhamji also said the gunman was funded by "Zionist business.”

The only thing I am surprised about here is how long it took them to make this DNC like accusation.

Plaintiffs Micah Jessop and Brittan Ashjian claimed that Fresno police officers seized more than $151,000 in cash from their businesses and another $131,000 worth of valuables from Jessop’s home — but submitted only $50,000 as evidence and did not report the rest.
Drozd sided with and dismissed the complaints of illegal search and seizure, 14th Amendment and Monell, or municipal liability, violations.
I understand it's a bit of an old news, but I saw today the 9th Circus kicking it down the road and wondered anyways...

The Chicago way:
The Fraternal Order of Police on Tuesday unleashed its anger at Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx after charges were dropped against Jussie Smollett and renewed its call for a federal investigation into Foxx’s “interference” in the case.
“The conduct of her office from the very beginning of this cases was highly, highly suspicious,” Martin Preib, the FOP’s second vice president, told the Chicago Sun-Times.
“The entire country is outraged by it. The evidence is overwhelming that he was legitimately charged in this case. This decision [to drop the charges] appears to be utterly arbitrary, capricious and suspicious.”
That criticism was echoed by Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Police Supt. Eddie Johnson, who spoke to reporters at Navy Pier after a graduation ceremony for new and promoted CPD officers.
“From top to bottom, this is not on the level,” Emanuel said, adding that it looks like another case where the wealthy and famous are treated differently.
A grand jury, Emanuel added, saw only a little of the evidence, and it was enough for them to return an indictment.
Now, “Mr. Smollett is still saying he is innocent, still running down the Chicago Police Department. How dare he? How dare he?” Emanuel said. “Is there no decency in this man?”
Added Johnson: “If you want to say you are innocent, you take your day in court. … I would never hide behind a brokered deal.”
The FOP initially demanded a federal investigation to determine whether Foxx acted inappropriately when she tried to persuade Chicago Police Supt. Eddie Johnson to transfer the investigation of Smollett’s claim of being the target of a hate crime to the FBI.
In renewing the call for a federal investigation into what he called Foxx’s political “interference” on behalf of the Smollett family, Preib argued that the state’s attorney’s office’s decision to drop the charges “only gives more foundation to our claims.”
Foxx’s initial request that Johnson transfer the case to the FBI came after an influential supporter of the “Empire” actor reached out to Foxx personally: Tina Tchen, a Chicago attorney and former chief of staff for former first lady Michelle Obama, according to emails and text messages provided by Foxx to the Sun-Times in response to a public records request.

So why would the Kim Foxx want this case handled by the FBI. Does by chance know they can be told how to run an investigation. The reputation of the FBI is terrible right now and this makes them look even worse.

It was a BS claim from the very start. Two guys ran an illegal gambling operation. They didn't allege that money had been stolen and not accounted for by the PD until well after they initially filed their lawsuit and only then to try and avoid a Motion for Summary Judgment. If they truly thought that the PD stole $100,000 from them why wasn't it alleged in the original lawsuit (they knew well ahead of the filing of their suit that the Fresno PD said only $50,000 was seized from them). That is why the 9th Circuit told them to pound sand.

Rand Paul:
BREAKING: A high-level source tells me it was Brennan who insisted that the unverified and fake Steele dossier be included in the Intelligence Report... Brennan should be asked to testify under oath in Congress ASAP.
Brennan has already been back pedaling from his accusations against Trump saying he got inaccurate information. That guy is dirty as the day is long.

“Captain America” star Chris Evans talked politics in a recent interview and said he “really” hopes the quarterback of his favorite team, Tom Brady, is not a supporter of President Trump.
Evans, 37, conducted a tell-all interview with The Hollywood Reporter that was published Wednesday. The discussion turned to politics when the issue of the actor's vocal political views on social media came up.
"You don't want to alienate half your audience," Evans told magazine of his tweets. "But I'd be disappointed in myself if I didn't speak up. Especially for fear of some monetary repercussion or career damage — that just feels really gross to me."
I wonder if he realizes he just alienated half of his audience himself?

Not half of his audience just the States between the oceans Hey Chris, some of my best friends are people I disagree with. This is the problem with the alt-left, like this idiot. They only use 1% of their brain because they need to cut ties with people they disagree with. Maybe try a respectful, heartfelt, conversation with someone you disagree with, it helps you grow and learn. Try it, maybe you can get your IQ up to 75 or so.
