This nightmare Sharks season just keeps getting worse.
Superstar defenseman Erik Karlsson is out for the rest of this season after suffering a broken left thumb in Friday’s 3-2 victory over the host Winnipeg Jets, a source with knowledge of the situation told NBC Sports Bay Area on Saturday morning.
Karlsson will have surgery to repair his thumb in the coming days.

In the game on February 14 in Winnipeg, San Jose Sharks defenseman Erik Karlsson suffered a broken thumb on his left hand, which will require surgery.
The injury will keep him out for the remainder of the 2019-20 season but he will be recovered well in advance of the team's 2020 training camp in September.
Additionally, the team announced that they have recalled defenseman Jake Middleton from the San Jose Barracuda, the team's top development affiliate in the American Hockey League.

It's to bright and gives you a sense of seeing the game differently |

Notice nobody posted Kane’s tweet about him getting a playoff game suspension for crosschecking Bellemare in the head while Chara got a fine for the same thing on Gallagher.
DPOS is a joke in so many ways. Kane maybe not in the right position to do the talking but someone needs to say it and Kane knows he doesn’t have anything left to protect so why not speak your mind and tell the truth everyone needs to hear.

Yeah I noticed that tweet last night about Chara. People have been backing him up with his tweet about the way DPOS handles fines and suspensions especially when it comes to the Boston Bruins and the shit they pull on the ice with no response from the DPOS or the League |

The New Jersey Devils today traded defenseman Andy Greene to the New York Islanders, in exchange for New York's second-round pick in the 2021 NHL Draft and defenseman David Quenneville. New Jersey now has seven picks in the 2021 NHL Draft: the club's own selections in rounds one, three, four, five and six; in addition to New York's second-round pick and Arizona's third-round selection (conditional).
Quenneville, 21, will report to New Jersey's AHL affiliate in Binghamton.

Better to be posting about non suspended plays than what Kane did. He has gotten away with other similar plays to the one he just got busted for. He like other guys are a bit elbow happy.

Agree, and I have no problem with him getting more for the social media criticism of the NHL. He’s 100% right, but its not his place to say it. Team management should be fighting this for him. |
