CBC’s Hometown Hockey is at the Vollmer Complex in LaSalle. A rink right behind my old high school and ice I’ve skated on innumerable times. They usually bring out a local hockey star to interview. Tune in to see if we get an Andy Delmore sighting.
Honestly though, it is pretty cool to see.

WTF, Dillon? Where was that when he was with the Sharks Saw that and thought the same thing but so many things probably go into it. Wanting to make a good impression, knowing no one on PIT is going to do anything about it, having one of the baddest men in the league on your side, having a good whole team culture built around playing heavy and hard. It’s a big difference and one DW should pay attention to because WAS wasn’t so different from SJ a few years ago. I like a quote from their GM, Brian MacLellan, ‘you need enough team speed to get through the season and enough heaviness to make it through the playoffs.’ |

Also love seeing him land several good shots on Malikn. |
