I was the winning bid on a online estate sale for a Howard Miller grandfather clock. Have always wanted one, but just a little to much money for me to pull the trigger. It retailed between 3 and 4 grand, and my winning bid as I was the only one to bid on it was $399.00. Now I just got figure where the fuck I'm going to put it. LOL If you can't find a place I have an empty corner in my living room that it would fit perfectly. 😁😁😁 Oh, don't worry I found a place for it. I would post pictures of it but I can never get pictures to upload on to here. |

It was my wife's birthday yesterday and I made sure to make it a good one since we would have been in Kauai.
She was ho-hum at first but I BBQ'd steak, green and yellow squash and Instant Pot some artichokes.
Our friends delivered breakfast from our local joint Bagels and Brew. The friends sent flowers and I sent flowers.
We ordered Sprinkles cupcakes (her favorite) and her Aunt sent Cinderella Cakes plus her work sent a small chocolate cake. We had too much cake that we ended up giving it to our friends that sent the breakfast.
Drop the stuff outside the porch they drove by and picked it up!
Odd times, but she was grateful I made the day for special for her!
Good luck to all you all out there in these situations which require extra thinking!

Howdy hockey fans...curiosity question. As many of you know, I’m not a fan of the media in general. However, when I see the same information on CNN, FOX and the WSJ even I tend to believe it. All three of those sources had stories yesterday about food, primarily meat, shortages. I don’t see any of that here. In addition to the virus, we’ve had some significant weather issues here in the Deep South the past week. I went to Krogers today and got everything I wanted. The meat section was full. I got fresh seafood, beef, chicken and pork. In fact, I’m out back BBQ’ing some of it for lunch right now Besides all of you in the Bay Area, I know we have some folks in LA, Seattle, Ohio, Canada, etc. Are any of you seeing food shortages? Just wondering if this is more media driven fear or not. Also, if some are having food shortages, I’m not trying to be insensitive by asking, sincerely curious. |

One meat packing plant in Idaho (?) called Smithfields had to close because of the virus but that was the only one that I heard of. I know farmers are dumping milk down the drain because supplies are to high. This might be more of a media driven story to create more panic. They should really find out why all of these idiots are choking themselves with toilet paper. That's the real puzzle |
