Man, its good to be back in a daylight savings state. Nothing beats the worst Monday of the season then stepping out into beautiful sunshine and 70 degrees at 5:30.

Some people are definitely not afraid of Corona. Personally I feel like I'll end up with it and am not in a majorly effected demographic. What worries me is the response so far is such a mess and we literally don't have valid optics on this given the horrible testing capability in this country. So I suspect it's much more rampant over the past 2 weeks than is known - and at risk demos will hit hard (my mom - chemo last year and just finished radiation, JBs brother and folks). Best case would be to test even low probability cases and start getting serious stats on where it is and begin fanning out from there. Germany and South Korea are doing this the right way. |

Fucking BioMed conference in Boston apparently released people back here and elsewhere in the country. Yeah, biomed. |

My buddy is a scientist for United. He says they flew in 8K people from China a day before they stopped and they strongly suspect the virus was there in November. For many weeks they had no idea how exposed they were yet not a single gate agent, flight crew has been impacted. |

After the County of Santa Clara's guidance about events went from a suggestion to a ban in a span of a few days, I suspect the county will be quarantined very soon. I hope I am wrong. |
