Massively strained my back during deadlifts this morning at the gym. Fought the urge to try to do something, anything else, in there before hanging it up 20 minutes in. Never in my life have I felt so utterly weak/unable. Even attempting to lift some weights off the rack to return them was near impossible, and any concerted effort to put some power through my legs in a squat was futile. It's crazy how that small area can completley shut down your body. Fuck this blows. I am walking around like the god damned terminator with even the slightest off balance arm motion throwing my back into spasms. Hoping tomorrow improves and I can at least run sometime soon. Let alone begin lifting again. I feel your pain...I’ve had back issues for about five years now. Highly recommend you lay low and don’t rush things. You’re younger, so you might heal faster than an old guy like me...but make sure you’re pain free before you run/lift or you’ll be down for a week vs. a couple of days. Five years? Damn... that's it? I broke my back in three places in February 1980. I've had back pain, ranging on a scale of 1-10, from 1 to fucking shoot me every day since. So, I give your five years the 🖕! 😝 And I give you another 🖕 for the $2 gas! 😝 And to think, I spoke highly of you yesterday! 😆😆😆

Yeah. Back was a bit better yesterday but still gets stiff and can get sharp pain in certain weight bearing positions.
Back at work today has been rough with all the sitting. I'm turning the area next to my cube into an impromptu yoga studio.
Still, it's crazy how much it limits your ability to do any normal motion. And as some of that mobility comes back (or just ability to do something without pain) you really appreciate the progress.

I have no health issues and pay zero for gas. Ban me. Did you go with the model3? I was starting to consider one as opposed to some cheap 2 door for my next go around. Both because the true 2 doors are getting a sideways glance from the Mrs. And I'm half starting to peak into the price range of the 3 anyway. First thing I checked was the confirm there are charging stations to enable our eventual escape from the desert...

That must have been terrible, sorry you had to go through that. Glad you healed enough to still be active. Five years is plenty for me...I’m also fortunate that mine doesn’t hurt every day. Here’s to healthy, pain free, backs for all of us! Can’t help on the gas prices though...we’re down to $1.95

Played soccer for six weeks after the injury. Pretty stupid. Had to shut it down for 3 months after that. No physical activity. Get in to bed slowly, get out of bed slowly. No running, jumping, skiing, surfing, boinking, skimboarding, swimming... no fun. Well, I smoked copius amounts of weed and did stuff anyway but I did dial it back big time. I was "fine" for a few years after that then the real "fun" began. In an effort to protect the injured area my back muscles became totally unbalanced causing major shifts in my veterbra causing the "kill me now" levels of pain. Chiropractic corrects that but I can't afford to do that every week. I manage to keep things fairly inline these days. It's the muscle spasms that occur most days that get me now. I use a muscle stim machine to dial that back. Works great but it's inconvenient so I don't use it as often as I should. I've got nobody to blame but myself. Yeah, back pain sucks big time. Well, pain in general. I'm sorry to hear you've been dealing with it as well. I wouldn't wish it on anybody! Well, there's probably a few assholes running around that deserve it! 😝

yo peeps!
So off the topic I'm a bit in freak out mode, since I have seemed to lost my USB thumb drive that I use most frequently to hold personal crap etc.
Had in my pocket yesterday when getting lab work done for blood etc. I'm thinking it came out somewhere between the lobby, the blood withdrawal and the bathroom there.
Left a VM with them so we will see, since I already traced my steps back to parking lots and what not.
GRRR - (my fault for not leaving it in the car and my fault for not password protecting the thing!)
Anyway praying to whatever higher power out there, that it turns up!!

What did they bill you for Obviously their botched integration of AT&T and DirecTV has only removed me as AT&T customer, but kept me as DirecTV customer. I was billed for the past two months.
A lady from the CEO's office already called, apologized and promised to put a stop to it.

As soon as I called and cancelled everything AT&T I got a email from Direct TV (which I hadn't had any conversation with the last three years) to return their equipment. So I shipped the two receivers and remotes back to them. I still have the wifi box. Waiting for that bill to drop.

The order for the Internet installation didn't go through when I bought everything as a package through a distributor at Costco. That was the reason for the numerous problems in both service and billing and the ultimate cancellation.
But in the 8 months of the service I enjoyed a $350 Costco gift card, whereas overall I paid something like $500 altogether.

I really screwed up when I had AT&T combine my phone, internet and direct tv service into one bill. Two months later I knew I had made a huge mistake. Once it was combined I couldn't talk to direct tv anymore. I had to go thru the AT&T customer service department which is a fucking joke. HELLO MANILA
