He's 77 now, shouldn't Indiana be sheltering in and NOT out criss-crossing airport runways? Jeez.

Well I am still off work. Xray on Monday was good news/bad news. The pneumonia is basically gone so that is good and I can focus on getting my strength back. Now the potential bad news. Xray showed a 13mm “mass” in my lower left lung. Doctor’s quote was “I am not saying it’s a tumor, but I want a CT scan to make sure it isn’t.” He thinks it could be scar tissue from an old illness. So now I wait for the insurance company to authorize the CT scan.

We think to go to the the "Little Yosemite" in Sunol this Sunday. 'Little Yo' is a great trail for kids. HBM was unwelcoming but ultimately beach accessable. coming down the 92 into HMB, Electric sign flashed: "If you've travelled more than 10 miles, turn around and go home". All public parking in town, beach parking lots ALL closed. Tried the Costal Access parking at Ritz Carlton, closed up, empty. Tried to sweet talk front door bellman, 'Vallet park for two hours?' Flashed him a twenty. 'No, you'll need to turn around if you don't have a reservation..' Ritz was a ghost town except for the golf. Drove a mile north, parked in a residential area and hiked 4 blocks to the beach. Beautiful clear day, we could see a mile down the beach.. there were maybe 50 people along that mile stretch.

Locals we saw were all friendly and nodded, but we're a cute coulpe. Sign on the Deli shop on main St. "No mask, no service". I always now carry a mask for going into businesses. Got a huge $12 Turkey/Avacado/swiss sandwich for the road.
