Our Costco has changed their hours. Now open at 10 instead of 9. Not sure why.

Our Safeway solved the crisis by selling individual rolls for 88c apiece. The hoarders won't buy them (too expensive), and those who're in real need can restock.

Can someone tell the NHL to just crown the Knights and give me my ticket refund already?

Can someone tell the NHL to just crown the Knights and give me my ticket refund already? Thanks for the laugh. Have you asked for a refund or are content to wait it out? You had a full season, correct?

Thanks for the laugh. Have you asked for a refund or are content to wait it out? You had a full season, correct? I had a full season but sat this one out. With the kids out of the house it just did not make sense to hold four anymore. Also had zero faith in the team and secondary market agreed with me last season.

LMAO, proper temperature never stopped you That is true but I may have unwittingly committed a beer foul. For me, it needs to be a high of at least 80 Fahrenheit to enjoy a Mexican lager. I also tend to drink certain styles during certain times of the year (except an IPA fits any time - that’s more mood based). Late fall and winter is all about the porters and stouts. Spring I reach for sours and amber ales. Summer is all about lagers and pilsners then early fall is a quick transition through brown ales back to porters and stouts. The only beer foul is to not enjoy the beer you’re drinking as there is a situation and a price point for every beer. TRO

I'll pick up a bottle next time I go there It seemed reasonably priced at $80 for a 22 year (well, after the stupidity of Washington liquor taxes, $98). It’s apparently a speyside which was aged in bourbon casks then finished in sherry casks. I chickened our last time because they had Suntory Toki for $30 ($38 after WA taxes) which is a solid Japanese blend. TRO

TRO Wow, the tax on booze is ridiculous there It’s actually cheaper than it was previously. Until about 6 years ago all liquor was sold through state operated stores. There were never sales, closed Sunday and a fifth of jack would cost about $23. Costco (and a couple others) got an initiative on the ballot to allow for private sales of liquor, effectively shutting down the state run liquor stores. The state then, to make up for their lost revenues, instituted two taxes on distilled spirits - a 20.5% sales tax and a flat $3.75 per liter after that, prorated for the actual volume purchased. It’s why I try to arrange my liquor purchasing around trips to either Canada or Oregon. The CA family also frequently is clutch. TRO

When its cold, heavier beers. However, that can change with circumstances...cigars, chainsaws, etc
